My counselor sent my mid-year report in january (or did she..) and it's still not listed under my application materials received. Should I be worried?

mine too...

So yours ISN'T listed either? hmm..

mine isn't either

mine either...

mine either

Does anybody have his/her mid year report listed? I'm a EA applicant (deferred), it could be that it's therefore not listed because there just isn't a box "mid year report" that could be checked.

Yeah I don't think its supposed to show up.

There isn't a box to be checked.

i found out my GC just sent them snail mail. i asked her if she could fax my mid-terms. she said no........even though another shcool i applied to asked me to fax it. yikes!

it might have been lost. I had a lot of problems getting my first transcript out to schools because they somehow lost four of the thirteen. I don't know where you live in relation to Yale, but I live in Oregon, so that might explain how they were lost. Just call the admissions office and ask them if they recieved it. Also, they may not have updated it because EVERYONE is sending their mid-year reports right now and they are still trying to filter through the crates of mail they are getting.

i dont think mid year reports are meant to show up on the status page....no other college ive applied to shows midyear reports on the status page...

USC is the only college that has midyear reports on the status page out of all the colleges I've applied to.

1/2 of my colleges show midyear status on page.

I wrote Yale and asked them whether they had received my mid-year report because it doesn't show up on the status page, a couple of hours later they answered yes.

which email address did you email? is there a point in checking or would they contact me if something was missing...

I checked who my regional admission officer is and wrote to his e-mail address. The answer was just one sentence "we have it.", no regards, nothing friendly. So my mail seems to have been a little disturbing. I hope it's not a sign that they already made their decision and therefore don't need to be too friendly. But it was probably just due to a lack of time. If you're not sure, I'd definitely write. Check who your regional admission guy is and write!

At least you got a response from your admissions rep.. I emailed mine about two weeks ago (updating her on some awards) and haven't heard anything. Maybe it's because I spelled her name wrong accidentally.

Or because they are in the throes of admissions decisions and are working crazy hours.

I just hope there is enough time to send in something additional on Friday :|
