Mid Year Report Questions...

Long story short, I forgot to pay my overdue book fees to the library, so I never got my report card.

I've been on winter break for the past week.

I'm planning to pay the money on Monday, and get my report card sometime next week.

USC is my only non-common app school.

When I reached the page where we have to manually put in our grades, I noticed there was only ONE LINE for "grade."

My school runs on a marking period system. I have 3 grades (1st MPD, 2nd MPD, and Midterm Exam).

So does that mean I average the grades to make them into a semester grade? (40% 1st MPD, 40% 2nd MPD, and 20% Midterm exam)?

Also can I do this sometime the following week (2/28 - 3/4)? or Would that be too late? Since I never got my report card...

Well since 2/28 is next monday, you should fill in the online portion of your report card and send them the real one ASAP. I’m sure it will be okay, but call the admissions office to confirm.

You should logon to your USConnect and click on Admission then click on Mid-year grade report. In there you should see seven row of Subject/Grade that you need to report.

The mid-year report is your senior Fall semester final grade that send home from your high school.

My school does not calculate semester grades.

So should I do it myself, given the 2 marking periods, and midterm exam grade? (and put that in the online portion?)
