I have already submitted my mid-year report that my G.C. filled out and have submitted a transcript to Brown months ago. When looking over at the website, it states that mid year grades are needed asap-does this mean that I JUST need to submit the Mid-year report or do I have to send in an addition transcript (this one listing semester grades) in addition to the report!!!???

Still not sure about the first part of our question (obviously) but I do know that your G.C. can submit it using either method. Some of my friends did it online through the common application but I personally had it mailed.

Brown wants to see your midyear grades. So yes, your GC needs to get them that information. I'm looking at an old application, and it looks like the midyear form is fine -- no additional transcript needed.

I think my S's school only sent the updated transcript, not a Midyear Report form prepared by the GC. Does anyone know if this is good enough? In other words, if I understand this thread correctly, the Midyear Report is good enough without the transcript, but is the opposite true?

@ supportivemom...im pretty sure that my school only sends an upgrade of grades as well. when i asked about giving them the midyear report...they said they did not need it. if they are doing this and so is ur S's school, then i would expect that this is fine.
