If NYU requests them from you, about when do they let you know?

They do not request them.

I read that they do in some cases.

I think it’s final year reports that they sometimes request, not midyear. I’m not sure though.

We had a hard time finding definitive info on whether particular colleges required the midyear reports. We used the Common App website as our guide:

NYU has a great admissions forum which answers a lot of these questions. This is what they say about mid-year reports:

actually on NYU’s website on their forums FAQ , they say they DO NOT NEED 1, so no need to send it .

“In some cases, we do request grades for the first semester of the senior year, but we do not ask students to routinely provide those grades.”

So apparently they do in some cases. About when would these be requested?

yes , they dont usually ask for them. U only need to send one when they ask you too.

yes, schmoomcgoo, we too used Common App as a guide and it definitely says ‘midyear grades’ as required forms - GC sent them. Would be nice if all the info said the same things…

“yes , they dont usually ask for them. U only need to send one when they ask you too.”

My question is, about when do they send these request to do so?

ull know when they do :)

^when do they usually is my question.
