Mid-Year Transfer

Hi everyone, my name is Jesse and I'm looking to transfer to Clemson this year! :)

Background: I was accepted to start fall 2012, I applied a few days too late to be considered for the academic recruiting (potentially would have been at the top of the tier), so I decided to go to a school closer to home that I got a scholarship for. Now that I'm a bit over a month into things, I realized that I would much rather be at Clemson and that my heart is just not at my current school. I even get upset about it when people say the word Clemson! I just would like to know if anyone has information on transferring, if you've done it, know anyone, what its like to transfer mid -year, if I should wait until fall 2013, things like that.

Thanks in advance!

Here’s the info you’ll need to know about transferring: [Transfer Student Admission Procedures and Requirements : Clemson University](<a href=“Admissions | Clemson University, South Carolina”>Admissions | Clemson University, South Carolina)

In my opinion, it’s really up to you when you want to transfer - not really any advantages or disadvantages of waiting or not waiting

Thanks Pierre, but I’ve already checked out the obvious. I was more looking for personal experiences and whether or not it would be a difficult thing to do.
