<p>Hi. I'm thinking of sending my daughter to the new Middlebury Chinese Language summer program in Beijing next summer. They just started a new program there this year.
I'm thinking that learning the language in the country it is spoken would be much beneficial than learning it on a college campus somewhere in the US.
However, I am hearing that there have been alot of teething issues this summer.
I heard that food and water was a problem and that some kids got very sick and had to leave.
I don't know anyone personally whose child attended this specific program, so would appreciate any feedback from anyone who actually attended this summer.</p>
<p>My brother was going to do that program but heard not many kids signed up. He went on the Summer Discovery China trip instead and said it was awesome. He takes Mandarin in school so he was able to take it there too. He also said some kids were doing business classes and they stay at a hotel.</p>
