Intended majors: English and Neuroscience with Pre-Med

Took easier classes Freshman year with decent grades, then took a few more honors classes sophomore year with some Bs and B+s, then Junior year took all possible APs (and an extra–skipped a year of Latin) with all As. So, strong upward trend. Next year is even more rigorous.
Most important ECs:
- Write short stories and poetry, published in several local publications
- Founded Irish Culture Club at last school (I moved)
- Founded Badminton Team at last school
- Founded Neuroscience Club at current school, very active, have tons of professors come in and talk, raise money for MS, go on excursions, dinners with professors, and other stuff
- Volunteer at hospital and local library for 10 hours a week total
- Go to MIT and Harvard and pole vault every week
- On track team, hoping for captain next year
- Summer research at Boston Children’s Hospital and MIT in neuroscience
- Co-Head of Junior Steering Committee planning events for the grade
Athletics: Looking at Vassar, Williams, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Tufts, and Bowdoin for pole vaulting recruiting, so this could help at any of these schools.
