Ahhh so nervous. If admitted, are they gonna send the email right at 8 or there might be delays?
decisions should be dropping in 15minutes time…ain’t it?
Daughter was accepted as a Feb 2022.5! Grateful and lucky.
Congratulations!!! Did she get an email or just log in to the site?
She just logged into the portal and it said status update - a button to click on.
D denied. It was a reach but still, it stings.
Thanks. Son is asleep. The nerve. : )
Deferred. I plan on staying active with admissions. Any advice? Congrats to all those who were accepted!!
accepted :)… I am shocked and yet so ready to be a part of the class of 2022!!
My son was deferred ED2 but accepted during regular decision. So hang in there.
@rjjxv26 Thank you! Certainly going to keep my head up through this process.
Don’t forget to send in updates through Jan/Feb if you have anything significant to add. Good luck.
Guys, could you please share your stats?
Does applying ED2 to Middlebury provide as much of a boost to your application as ED1
@as2018 From what I have heard, yes. A smaller percentage are accepted but there are also less legacies and recruited athletes in the pool.
My son was admitted ED and we sent in his deposit yesterday. He will be playing football. His stats:
ACT 34 (36 in Math)
Sat 1380
GPA 4.0 4.66 weighted
Class Rank 7 out of 421
Took all AP classes offered and scored 5 on all tests
770 on Chemistry SAT 2
680 on Math 1
He was heavily recruited by Carnegie Mellon, WUSTL, Pomona, Grinnell, Sewanee, University of Rochester, and MIT. My vote was WUSTL but he fell in love with Middlebury. I am a little worried because I think writing is a weakness and he is attending a liberal arts school that stresses writing but hopefully it will work out. What made me more comfortable is the 3/2 with Dartmouth and I hope he goes that route. Best of luck to everyone and congratulations.
My son was admitted ED with 1460 SAT. He will be playing football as well. Go P
