Hi all,

Not sure whether this is the right place to put this--given that it is domestic--but at the same time I don't quite feel that it belongs in the Middlebury forum.

I was accepted to the Kathryn Davis School of Russian at Middlebury in mid-February. I am awaiting a financial aid decision (which, given my family's income, I think will be sufficiently generous to allow me to attend). But I understand that financial aid is rolling, and I am not sure whether I will make the "cut-off" date. With that in mind, I have a few general questions, which I am sure that there cannot be definitive answers to but that which might guide me in deciding to make other plans for the summer:

Are all schools' financial aid interlocked? That is, do two schools--say, Spanish and Russian, draw from the same pool, and the date Spanish has allotted aid for is at least in part indicative of the date Russian date?

If not, does anyone have any historical dates for the extent of the Russian School financial aid? Again, I was admitted in mid-February. I'm not really well aware of my position.

Thank you for reading.
