Middlebury Majors

I know Middlebury is known for its language programs, but I was wondering if they have a linguistics major in addition to this.
On their site, linguistics is not listed as a major, but if they specialize in language, shouldn't it be?
If they do have a linguistics major, how is its department?
Also, how is their classics department?
In short, how is Middlebury for Classics or Linguistics? :P

Does anyone know? :]

I believe they have an excellent Classics program, but for more on linguistics you could have searched the forum and would have come up with this:

Swarthmore has an excellent linguistics program!!

Modadunn, I checked out the thread. Thanks! :]
Do you know whether they will have a linguistics major next year? (Fall 2010)

Likely to have a minor, and then the next year, a major. Probably in combo with the Monterey Institute of International Studies, which will become part of Middlebury on June 30, 2010, and has a very good program in linguistics (along with translation and interpretation).
