Middlebury RD Class of 2020!!!

Apparently my midyear grades were never sent and I just had my counselor resend them… but when I emailed Midd they said they could make my decision without the midyear grades… good or bad sign…

Honestly there’s nothing you can do about it now, so don’t stress yourself out about it.

Hey Everyone Could anyone be willing to give my essays a read? My scores werent that great (31 ACT and 3.92 GPA) but I believe my essay was pretty good. Just want a point of view of someone other than my counselor

@Thisishassanali ? Middlebury does not have any supplemental essays.

I was referring to the Common App essay @londondad  Sorry for the confusion.

Do we know when decisions will be released yet?

19th March 8 AM EST

@Thisishassanali Sorry, but having someone read your essay now can do nothing for you. What are you hoping to gain from having someone read your essay? It has been submitted - sit back, try not to stress, and be confident you did your best. A couple of random strangers commenting on your essay does not impact anything other than your state of mind and it may not be positive. Try to relax. Good Luck.

The truth has been spoken @karlmarx2020

@Thisishassanali I wish you the best. Personally, I resolved a few months ago not to stress about my apps once they were submitted, but I understand how it can still feel better to discuss among peers. Less than a week for Midd and then only 6 more schools to go after that.

Haha, finally a school that releases decisions in the morning.

Ah its nerve racking and exciting to have both the time and day known!

@books217 it’s way better than not knowing and refreshing every 30 seconds :))

@zekosadieurokrem very true!! Just definitely not going to sleep Friday night haha

@books217 my prom night is on Friday lol definitely staying away from the phone

@Scriant - Exactly. A Saturday morning release is brilliant.

Where else have you guys applied? I got in at UMO and Smith and am waiting to hear from Bowdoin, Bates, Colby, and Wellesley. Midd is my first choice, but I’m not holding my breath. Really nervous for Saturday and so glad it’s in the morning.

wow all super great schools, good luck

@sakamotomiooo37 Thanks so much! Good luck to you too!

@juniperann are you an international or a domestic applicant? Good luck!
