I'm considering transferring to Middlebury, but am a little worried about coming into a new school with a small transfer class. Are there any recent Midd transfers out there that could share their experience coming into the school?

Forgot to mention that I’m also considering Wesleyan that had a pretty big incoming transfer class (around 70), which is pretty important, to me.

Hi, I’m also considering Middlebury for transfer, mostly because the language program is amazing. I did a summer intensive program there in summer of 2009 and I clearly remember how beautiful the campus is.
I’m a little concerned about the size and location, so I’m waiting on on some schools before I make my decision.

@slatewater midd is used to small groups of new students coming in with the feb program and everyone there is so friendly and helpful, i cant imagine youd have too much of a problem if you are relatively outgoing and make a point to meet people.

that said, im a wes transfer for next year so i obviously think its a good choice as well :)

@uncool - im also considering Midd for the language program. im into French…what about you? yeah, the location is also getting to me a little, cause im from manhattan, but the flight is easy enough

I’m studying Chinese and Japanese. I knew some people who did the summer program for French and loved it. Is it just between Wesleyan and Midd for you?
