I have been settled on going to colgate for a few weeks now. Even though i didnt totally fall in love with it, i was happy to be choosing it. however, my waitlist at middlebury came through, and today they informed me that i have been accepted. I haven't visited middlebury yet, of course i will be doing that before i accept/reject them, but if anyone could help me in comparing the two it would be great. i know that both are very similar - rural, cold, and liberal artsy. i plan to major in economics. any help would be great. thankss :)

Congrats! First let me say that I'm totally biased, but I think you should come to Midd. My advice is to visit (but you're already doing that). Midd's econ program is awesome. I posted this on another thread, but in case you didn't see it:

mjtdesai, how did they inform you about taking you off the waitlist?

they called me and left a message on my answering machine. more informal than i thought

how long did they give you to decide?

i dont know, i have to call the lady back tomorrow - i havent talked to them yet since their office is not open on the weekend

May I know your states for finally being selected by Midd from the WL? Thanks
