I'm not exactly sure where I stand in terms of colleges. My top choice would be Yale, but if it's too much of a reach, then it's Rice University.

What are my chances of getting into those colleges if I had a 2100 SAT I, 770 Math II, 690 U.S. History, 680 Biology. My GPA is a 5.2/4.0 W; my UW is unknown. My rank is 3/250, and I come from an extremely rural town (we have cows and farmland).

I plan on double majoring in Econ/Bio (tentative though) with a minor in a Humanities subject

My ECs are pretty extensive. I don't have many leadership positions in clubs at my school, but I am dedicated to a lot of my extracurricular activites (5+ years involvement on at least 5 of my ECs).

Counselor recs should be very, very good. I've known them since I was a like 5. Teacher recs should also be stellar. My essays are in the progress, but, hopefully, they should be good because I'm not a sucky writer.

So overall I'd peg me as just AVERAGE. And I would apply to Yale no matter what because it's my first choice, but Rice has ED while Yale does not, so Rice would be the more practical solution I guess...

I know about the "What if...." but I just want to know how my stats fare in the Yale and Rice admissions process.

Thanks to everyone!!:D

Oh, and I'm Asian.
