So I am hoping to transferring to University of San Diego in the Fall, but they require a midterm report to transfer and my midterm for one of my classes is awful. So I’m taking 4 classes and I have A’s in all of them except one where I have an F. I know what I did wrong and will do better by the final for this class, but this is the grade for my midterm. Will this make them decide to reject me?
I feel you. Im expecting to have 2 A’s, 1 B, and a D or C after my midterms have been taken and graded. I have a 3.59 gpa, a good essay, I studied abroad through USD, and my brother goes there so I’m hoping that will distract them from that D(hopefully C) lol. I have that D in Biology because I had to walk out of an exam because I was pretty sick. That one test pretty much screwed me over. Im going to include a statement on the reason for the D. I had that same question and my dad told me they’re more focused on your gpa, essay, etc and that one bad grade won’t make or break it. Hope this helps!
It doesn’t hurt to include a statement on why and how you received that F Maybe send an email?
