Hey so I got into Northeastern's Pharmacy program, but I stupidly took hard classes this year. I'm taking Spanish 4 H, Physics H, English 12 H, AP Econ, AP Chem, AP Stat, and regular Calc. I'm not doing so well in Physics, Chem, and Stat.

I currently have a C+ in both marking periods for AP Stat, a B+ and a C in AP Chem, and a B- and a C+ in Physics. And I don't think my midterm grades for these classes will be so hot either. Is this enough for Northeastern to reject me, or will my final grades be enough to save me?

Interesting how the O/P framed the question … will bad grades be “enough for Northeastern to reject me” as opposed to “since I’m getting bad grades in critical core classes, should I rethink my decision to be a Pharmacist?”

Just interesting, (and probably very typical) that’s all.

Also …

That statement is prima facie confirmation of the mindset.

^ That was my thought as well. Having trouble with Chem and Physics going into a pharmacy program? I wonder what the OP will do next year when the entire curriculum is college level?

:) My thoughts too but I decided to stick to the question.
The matter of next year, when Physics H seems a walk in the park compared to Northeastern’s curriculum will come up next year for real, when OP is faced with weed out classes and students who didn’t slack off senior year.

OP: your goal right now should be to try and get A’s in these classes. And if in order to do that you have to drop statistics, that’s the only class you can drop due to the studies you’ve chosen.
