Hi, I know there's already a few threads on this issue, but none of them quite respond to my issue.

I am applying to US colleges from Denmark where we have a different school system. I won't receive the grades that go on the transcripts for the Midyear Report until late February (like probably February 28).

I think all or most of the colleges I am applying to require the Midyear Report, but they don't state a specific deadline.

Will it be a problem that they won't receive the Midyear Report until the end of February or the beginning of March?
And should I contact them about?

I hope that someone will be able to help me :) thanks!

Midyear reports are typically expected whenever available. The “deadline” tends to be mid to late February but it’s a soft deadline and colleges will certainly understand if yours won’t be available. Look at the admissions sites to find when the reports are due (if they are due at all, some colleges do not ask for them). A deadline should definitely be posted somewhere, or at least some explanation of when they expect to receive it; if you cannot find this information, call them. Fastest way to get an answer.

If you are going to miss their deadline, send them an email just to explain. I would wait until closer to the deadline to send the email.

Thank you for replying!

They all say “when available” or similar, no specific dates. I’m just worried that they’ll think I’ve forgotten.
Anyway, I think I’ll call or send them an email asking if it’s a problem or not.
