Midyear report on Common App: quarter system grade question?

Hi everyone, if my school works by the quarter system, and my transcript only updates (and shows) my gpa every two semesters, will the common app mid year report only say my combined two semester gpa shown on my transcript? Or will the common app require both first semester and second semester grades (my transcript will not show both seperately)?

I am asking since one of my professors had to leave school for some time and there was a grade issue, (I had a c first semester and a b second semester), the combined grade would be a b.

Your transcript sent will only reflect the first semester for the mid year report if that is all you HS put on the transcript. It does not combine grades across semesters.

Do you mean you got a C the first QUARTER and a B the second QUARTER? Whatever the final semester grade is is what shows.

Thank you for responding! My grade issue was worked out, and now I have a b for both quarters (semesters). :slight_smile:
