<p>I've done a bit of searching and I still can't find out when we're supposed to give this to our GCs.</p>
<p>My school doesn't have a "Midyear" grade, and we run on trimesters. So, am I supposed to send them in around now (1st tri is over with), or later? And if I'm just applying now, do I send the midyear report with the rest of the application? It seems kind of redundant..</p>

<p>Okay, I just reread the form and it says the end of the second tri. I don't know how I missed it, whoops.</p>
<p>But the Midyear Report Carleton sent me says "the first semester or term of the current school year?" I'm confused.</p>
<p>You shouldn't have to do anything. Your midyear report is sent out by your school, not by you.</p>
<p>You have to give the form to your counselor. It's not done automatically. At D's high school, she would give to them after the second quarter or the first semester where grades actually go on the transcript. It depends on your high school, when does it report the first final grade? Is it after the first tri-semester ? How many final grade reports do you have per year? D's high school has 2 final reports.</p>
<p>The first final grade was the end of Nov., and we have 3 final grades per year. </p>
<p>The second tri isn't over until March 5th.</p>
<p>I just checked the common application mid-year report. It states after the second tri-semester. So for you it's the March one. Please read it the mid year report form, it should say in there.</p>
