I've recently run into a problem concerning my midyear report.

For the past few years I've been doing well, taking all honors or AP courses available and generally getting grades ranging from B+ to A. Right now I'm taking mostly APs during my senior year, and getting the same range of grades, except for one. For the first half of the year I averaged around a B in BC Calculus AP, which I felt was alright since it's my schools highest mathematics course, and a B isn't too far from my usual grades.

Then I made the mistake of going to the midterm sick instead of staying home and postponing it to the midterm week's make-up day. Long story short, I couldn't focus well during that test, ran out of time, missed some problems. The average score on the midterm was a B-, I got a D because of several things I left blank.
So now, all my other classes are mostly the same or slightly better than they were first term, except for BC Calculus, which now averages a C+ due to the botched midterm knocking 5 points off my overall grade. Will this one grade on the midyear report seriously damage my chances of getting into college, or is it not too much to worry about?

Also, would it make a difference if my school sends both the midterm grades & the two term grades, or only the year-to-date average?
