After I input my grades for the previous semester and hit "Save," the information disappears. Is that supposed to happen or is something wrong? What should I do?

Yes, the same thing happened to me....

mine was okay

that didnt happen to me

They must like YOU better than us, then.

Its so weird...why does it do that. Oh well, I'll just email Ms. Lopez

great....tell me what she says

she has not answered me back yet...lol

has anyone tried emailing Ms. Lopez because she is not responding to my email, and I have an urgent question

I have just a couple of quick questions for those who had already filled the "report" out:

Are there any additional information pages that are to be filled out following the "Academic Information" section, which contain the list to specify the courses taken, grades, institution, and dates?

If so, what else are we expected to know in terms of our transcripts and grades?

The reason that I ask is because my official school grade report contains no information in regards to the maximum GPA possible and other specifics, and I will have to contact my counselor specifically for such additional information.

There is really nothing else that you need to know. They ask you to input your updated gpa and rank, either weighted or unweighted, but they say that it's not required if you don't have access to that information. I believe that's what you were asking about, correct? Also, you can access the midyear report without filling it out, everything is there.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I wasn't able to get past the page that lists the individual courses without filling it out, so I was not sure whether I would need any other specifics. Thanks again.

My school issues ranks at the end of the year
For 11th I had it, but not for 12th..
Is that a discrepancy?? or is it normal?

ah this may be a bit late as a reply but i had the same problem with info not saving on the midyear report. I emailed my regional counselor. she said:
If you try with a different internet browser it should take care of the
problem. Other students have had the same problem and switching
browsers
does the trick.

Best,
Norma

Would a perfect midyear report greatly effect chances?

My dandy problem is I went over all of my old report cards recently and found about four errors that if corrected to what I figure they should be, my GPA jumps from a 4.000 to a 4.085 on a 4.25 scale, which is substantial given that the Salutatorian has a GPA thereabouts as well. I could overtake her and get Salutatorian status. If not, I'm third in class with the corrections.

The problem is my school sucks and the people in the office are too lazy to get out the old records from, gasp, three years and two years ago, and check on the discs containing the percentage grades. Plus, I go to another school at the end of the day for two AP classes, and they only give A grades or lower. But my school has teachers who will give A+ grades at a 4.25 point value. Not all of the teachers will, it takes some maneuvering. Most of the A+ grades actually come from blow-off classes where no work is done and everyone sleeps. So in fact, the current Salutatorian has been getting A+ grades for two years now by taking Easy-A+ classes to beef up her GPA. No college dual enrollment, no AP classes, no challenging courses, and she only has 6 out of 7 hours in the day this year. Cheating her way to Salutatorian.

So now I'm trying to have this resolved and possibly get the recognition that I think is rightfully mine. It's arrogant to some but if you were me, you'd feel screwed over too. However, time is an issue and I'm trying to get this taken care of so I can report it for the Midyear Report, but I have been really sick lately and haven't been in to school in two days to see if things were straightened out. If all else fails, I'll report the current figures then write back as soon as they're changed.

The recognition you deserve is that you worked a lot harder and your courses and stats mean a lot more than those of the other person. Stop worrying about it, colleges know how to read this stuff :-)
