Midyear Reports

Hey everyone,

I tried looking on Yale's website, but I couldn't find out whether accepted SCEA students have to submit the mid year report. If so, when would that be due?

Thanks!

yes, they still need your mid-year…and really, it’s especially important for them to have those grades if they are very strong, JUST IN CASE you slide a little tiny tiny tiny bit down in your grades this next semester. does that make sense? not that you WOULD slide  but just be sure you have those nice mid-year grades in there to show your due diligence.

and there is no desperate rush on your report getting in ASAP. it’s required, but almost more of a confirmation/formality at this point for you. just get it in. don’t think there is a formal “date”, just as soon as your school can get it there.

p.s.–if you really are torn between yale and stanford (as the note under your name suggests) please please find a way to spend at least 2 nights at each school this spring BEFORE the letters go out and all the propaganda weekends begin…yep, 2 nights this semester at each. a thurs and fri combo would be good (a study night and a weekend). these schools are intellectually similar but culturally VERY different schools. totally different vibes. if you are torn between the two, dig a little deeper to see why. i could more easily see being torn between yale and harvard, than yale and stanford, if that makes sense? <<<though of=“” course=“” my=“” bias=“” is=“” towards=“” yale!=“”>>></though>
