Midyear Reports for SCEA

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>So I normally don't post on CC, but I read everything and am familiar with the site. I got accepted to Harvard for SCEA, and I was wondering if accepted students still have to send in midyear reports? In the red envelope I got, there is no mention of the midyear report, just the final school report. </p>

<p>I am also quite nervous. I have also applied for MIT, Princeton, Yale, and Columbia, but Harvard is my first choice. I am really jittery about holding off of saying saying yes to Harvard while I am waiting for these other schools. Is there any reason my acceptance can be revoked besides the obvious "criminal proceedings or lack of graduation requirement?" Like perhaps waiting too long to reply even though the actual reply date is May 1?</p>

<p>If I just say yes to Harvard, would my other applications be withdrawn? </p>

<p>Also, like I said, I usually don't post here, so I never signed the SCEA pledge thread, but do you think I should still post my stats on the results website?</p>

<p>I thought it was still required to send the midyear report; on the last page of this file <a href=“http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/forms/instructions_1112.pdf[/url]”>http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/forms/instructions_1112.pdf&lt;/a&gt; it says that the midyear report is required for ALL candidates.</p>

<p>Harvard will not withdraw their offer if you reply to them by April 29! It’s actually smarter to wait; that way, you can compare financial aid offers. If another place offers better financial aid than Harvard, Harvard might change their aid offer.</p>

<p>Posting your stats might be useful to future applicants, but you should only do so if you feel comfortable doing it :)</p>
