Midyear reports

ok, I got into WUSTL school of engineering, but they still asked me for my midyear reports on my acceptance letter.

I turned my midyear reports in before receiving my decision, but only about 5-6 days prior (including weekends, so that's really 3-4 business days prior). I live in Maryland, and that 3-4 business days don't sound enough for the admissions office to receive my reports, view them, and make a decision.

so my final questions is: if I got accepted, does that mean they already saw my midyear reports?

I think maybe not…

They definitely finished decisions even weeks ago, and they want midyear report as a proof that shows you being study hard in senior year, so I seriously doubted the report can change the decision if you have finished your grades with no ugly scores.

so the probably have seen them right? I mean according to what you said, if they have made decisions even weeks prior, then all it takes is for my midyear reports to arrive and quickly viewed within 3-4 business days, which is more likely.

well, you can say that, but I tend to think they may review it a later which gives them more time…

Anyhow, congrats!

by “view,” you mean just quickly see it right? If so, then they should’ve seen them already.

I know if my final year grades suck, they really can withdraw their decision, but midyear, idk. I always thought they needed to see midyear reports first before making a decision

maybe they just see quickly to ensure that you don’t have too many "C"s, so I guess may be already

but I don’t think midyear reports is that necessary to make a decision, if so, those EDs won’t even have the report to make them being admitted.

They must not need to see them before making a decision because my friend who applied RD got a decision back and she still hasn’t sent in her midyear reports.

no they definitely do because they asked me for them, but did not state a deadline
