MIGHT be moving to laguna beach area..seriously, so i need your help!

ahhhh ok, most of us know laguna beach because of the show. Well my stepdad might be getting a new job over there within the laguna beach or laguna hills area, which really sucks because i dont want to move! I'm currently at a community college here in Ohio, and i have NO CLUE what colleges are in or near Laguna whatsoever. Can anyone help me out?, espcially people who live close to the area. I wouldnt mind living at home for a while until i get used to the new area and stuff, but either way can anyone let me know what colleges are in that area or close to that area so i can start researching on this kind of thing just incase he gets the job and accepts it. We wouldnt move until this coming summer, but still just incase i want to have a plan. Thanks in advance guys!

there are lots of colleges in the OC. What are you looking for? How far are you willing to drive?

Saddleback Community college is nearby, as is UC Irvine. Within an hours' drive are UC San Diego, & UC Riverside, Chapman Univ, Univ of Redlands. Cal States abound: Fullerton, San Diego, San Marcos. Also, Univ of San Diego (catholic college). And, don't forget the Claremont Colleges an hour away.

Not sure about residency, however, so the publics might try to charge you OOS tuition.

omgggg ur moving to LB(jkjkjk i actually hate the show well i dont but ive got a LB boy practically in my familyyy) u will love it not speeking from a LB freaK UCI is good...HOW FUNNY THOUGh in the next room i have A Laguna Beach native/good friend of the class of 2004 at LBHS...and USNA graduate as of last may..yah my sisters serious bf is a native

UCLA and USC are about one hour away from Laguna Hills.

I change that....i used to come in thru lax..and its a little longer then a hour ive been going to LB since i was 3 soo yah..i know..Lax is close to UCLA(well i see signs near the airport for UCLA and its nearby...) it would b 1 hour to 1 1/2 and make sure u leave time for traffic!

rush hour to 'SC and UCLA is definitely 90+ minutes. But, if OP is willing to travel that far, also consider Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, Cal State Long Beach, Azuza Pacific....there are many colleges in the 'hood.
