<p>Biggest downfall to people who really have not experienced the whole situation is the half and half day and boarder rate. PM me and I will fill you in… :)! Good luck.</p>

it’s more of an arty school, at least, that’s the vibe i got from it…
it’s a great school, but i chose not to go mainly because of the whole 50/50 boarding/day thing…
still an amazing school!!!</p>

The reason why I think it’s a plus is because the day students can take you off campus/to their houses/to Boston, and you can get closer with their families and get out to the Boston area more often.
When I asked that question on revisit day to some girls, that’s the answer they gave me. x]
That way, you won’t feel like you’re obliged to stay on campus all the time yeee.
Also, it doesn’t feel like a “ghost town” after the day students leave, because most of them stick around until at least dinner anyway, and there are still a good couple hundred people still on campus who are boarders. And on weekends, the day students are almost always on campus too.</p>
