<p>so I was thinking of applying there and I couldn't really find anything about the school. I went to their website but pretty much the same as other schools. whats life in milton like? hows the academic and extracurriuclar and dorm like? oh and are there a lot of people repeating 10th grade??</p>

<p>I know a few Miltonians as well as people who interviewed there and opted not to attend. 
The campus is so, so beautiful and I think they’re getting a new science building. Milton is a really nice town and is only a (short) train ride away from Boston so the location is great. Their strength is in English and History, I believe, so if you’re into those subjects you would probably like it. I honestly think it’s up there with Andover and Exeter and Choate and schools like that. As for dorm life, I’m not really sure because everyone I know who attends does so as a day student. It’s really 50/50 boarding, quite a few kids in the area attend as day students. So there’s obviously activities to keep boarders busy but I don’t think the whole “boarding” culture is as strong as boarding schools with very few day students. I’m not sure if they have many, (if any) students repeating grades.</p>
