Minds and machines

Has anyone here taken or is taking this major at RPI? It sounds really interesting and right up my alley, but I don't know if they give enough experience to get a decent job afterwards. Like, how much programming knowledge do you really get from this program? Any help would be appreciated since this is the primary reason I want to apply to RPI.

Try private messaging originaloog. His son may be in this program, or something similar.

i was considering it actually, but it depends what you like. programming knowledge you do get a lot cause it's almost like a dual of psychology/ philosophy and a computer science dual (if you do it with computer science).

I didn't like it because there was more philosphy in it for me than i liked. But you do get a lot of programming from it

Is it just general philosophy though, or does it all relate to the mind, and AI?
