<p>Hi! I just received the acceptance letter from McGill for Electrical Engineering, and my min. credit requirement is whopping 135.. And I thought the total credits for each year is only 30, so it's around 120 for 4 years. But 135 ?!?! Can anyone explain this to me, thxx (:</p>
<p>as far as I know, every engineering program is over 120 credits. At least whenever I talk to friends in engineering they tell me they are on like a 130-140 credit program.</p>
<p>The Welcome Guide says that a normal courseload for engineering is 15-18 credits per term (as opposed to 12-18 for other faculties).</p>
