I was recently accepted into umn College of Biological Sciences. I eventually want to go to graduate studies for veternary medicine and I do not know if CBS would be the best undergraduate path. Cbs seems like a really good college but CFANS seems to be more hands on.Would CFANS be better for eventually going to the vet school?

CFANS has two options that directly prepare students for graduate studies in veterinary medicine:
Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Science: This track meets the U of M College of Veterinary Medicine’s entrance requirements, and prepares students for other careers related to animal science.
VetFast / Veterinary Medicine for Food Production Animals: The U of M’s VetFast Program is a fast-track to veterinary school for students who want to work with livestock animals.
CBS is very prestigious, but it is highly competitive and might be harder to make top grades in for admission to graduate school, in addition to not directly preparing you for vet studies. If you are certain about wanting to study veterinary medicine, then it’s a good idea to switch to CFANS.
