I plan on majoring in Information Technology for my BS, would it be worth it to minor in computer science as well? Bc I want to learn how to become a strong coder and work in web development in the future?
Why not flip the major and minor?
The suggestion above is a good one. An IT degree with a CS minor is a little unorthodox and flipping the two would make much more sense.
I think a Computer Science minor is kind of a foolish concept anyway. It’s a complicated enough subject that if you’re studying it in it, it should be your major subject of interest.
Agree with this ^
