Minors/Concentrations/Certificates

When I was in college I did not have a minor or a concentration. Is that a bad thing? I fell guilty about it. I was wondering if I should get a certificate. I was told in college minors, concentrations and certificates were optional and not required for graduation. I transferred colleges and at the time if I would have decided to get a minor, concentration or certificate I would have had to stay longer. Did I make a huge mistake? Should I get a certificate instead I’m only one or two classes off?

Hi this is Drew Up. Can someone help me?

How about some more info? Have you already graduated? What did you study? Are you currently working?

In general, there is no need to get a minor. Unless there is some kind of extenuating circumstance, I would not spend extra time in college to get a minor.

I graduated in 2012 with my BS degree in General Business Administration.

At my college, minors and concetrations are required for most degrees. I think they want you to just have a broad spectrum and exposure to more than 1 thing.
