Congratulations newyorkerrr. My daughter got accepted to Miss Porter’s as well. Good luck with the rest of the school decisions coming up later today.

Congrats to your daughter!

@mrnephew so far i have only heard from kent mps and pomfret but i also applied to Hotchkiss, Concord (horrible interview) Choate and Andover

Ah. @newyorkerrr Where are you leaning towards?

Thank you @mrnephew. Did anyone else receive a letter of acceptance? Hotchkiss admissions decision is coming up at 7am, and Choate at 3pm. Best of luck.

Hotchkiss at 4(California over here) Loomis at 5 and Lawrenceville at 6.

@mrnephew, best of luck.

Thank you.

Hello, my daughter was waitlisted at MPS and it was her first choice. I presume that the waitlist at MPS is similar to other schools and there is no hope. If anyone knows anything about the MPS waitlist and yields, however, I would appreciate the information. Much thanks and good luck to everyone!

Waitlist is like a tunnel, really long with a tiny glimpse of light…

Realistically, the waitlist is going to be very difficult to get off of. The yield rate should be online, but they compensate for lower yields and might overenroll, rather than underenroll, in which case the waitlist will be utilized. @winslett

Anyway, have hope. Good luck!

Winslett, our experience last year was that if there is to be any movement on any schools wait list, it tends to happen right before or right after the April 10th deadline to enroll. Last year several schools did go to their waitlists.

That is what usually happens, because that’s when candidates announce.

My daughter was also accepted. Very happy for her as it’s her first choice!
