Missed a final, don't know what to do! :(

Oh God, you’re not really a nurse, are you? Intense migraines are usually accompanied by head pain, fever, vomiting and nausea - all are symptoms of ONE problem. That’s like saying it’s “inconsistent” if a kid with the chicken pox claims to be itchy as well. I didn’t make those comments bashing healthcare workers, so I don’t know why you’re lecturing me.

I’ve had intense migraines my entire life, been hospitalized for them twice, and seen neurologists before. I’m getting an MRI done this week. So just glancing at my med history, it should be obvious I’m not making crap up.

@Emaheevul: Yeah, I understand what you mean. The reason I went to the second exam is not only because I was in the same situation you were (getting a D otherwise) but also because the first was at 8am and the second at 4pm, and I was less sick by then too. The good thing about migraines is even though they suck, they never last more than a day and half or so (if so, it’s a more serious problem).

no there hasn’t been enough health care bashing.

doctors suck!!!

Nooo doctors are awesome! And nurses too usually haha…:)

My neurologist just called me back, he says he’ll write my professor a note explaining my situation!

I <3 my neurologist. He helped me get a research internship at the hospital last year, too, in the neurology dept (I’m a neuro major…with neuro problems…doing neuro research…my whole life revolves around brains pretty much :p)

[Alix after hearing back from Dr. Saved-my-Ass, MD.](http://cheerfulmonk.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/my-brain-is-my-favorite-toy.gif)

I love my neurologist, too. She is definitely one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen, and these days I have a specialist for just about everything.

I’m glad things worked out. Kick that exam’s ass!

Yay! A happy brain! Good luck on your exams =)

Awesome :)

Glad everything worked out! Hope your mRI turns out ok!

good luck on the final : )
