Missed deadline by a couple minutes.. should i call or e-mail the school?

I know that there are already a lot of threads about missed deadlines. I missed my deadline for Lehigh University by about two minutes because I procrastinated and my internet was really slow.

A lot of people here have been saying that most colleges have a grace period, so I decided to submit my payment anyway about two hours after I submitted the application.

I want to ask if my application will still be reviewed, but I don't know if I should e-mail or call them. I don't know if this is for all colleges, but I heard that Lehigh keeps track of every e-mail they receive from you, and if that's true, I don't want to make it even more obvious that I submitted the app late. But I feel like e-mail would be more reliable than calling...

So what should I do?

And also, commonapp sent me a confirmation at 9:00 AM on 1/2 saying that I submitted my app correctly, when I submitted it at 12:02 AM 1/2. Does that mean the school is going to think that it was submitted at 9:00 AM?

you

should

do

nothing

but

relax

I would email the school. They’ll know exactly when you submitted it (IE, a few minutes after the deadline) anyways when they download it, so it’s not like you’re showing them any fatal flaw about yourself that they don’t already know.

Just write a polite email of apology and ask if your application will still be considered.
