Can I still apply for institutional financial aid via the CSS profile if I missed the early action priority deadline of Nov 15?

Call the school and ask. They will be able to tell you.

Over a month late. Whooo! Good luck with that.

Many EA schools do not prepare early financial aid packages for their EA accepted students. The financial aid packages come out later. This student needs to call THEIR college. They missed the PRIORITY deadline which means they certainly won’t get an early estimate of financial aid. BUT the school might still prepare them a financial aid package that they will receive at a later date.

For example, my DD was accepted EA to her college. We DID meet the priority filing deadline. By doing so, she got a financial aid estimated award in February instead of waiting until end of March with the RD students. HOWEVER at her school, if we hadn’t gotten everything in by the priority date (November 15), she would have just completed it all by the regular deadline and waited longer for her award.

This is true for EA schools…non-binding acceptances only.

The OP needs to call HER school to find out what they will do.

If you miss the priority deadline for ED, you will likely NOT have a financial aid award with your ED package…and that can be a problem when you are deciding to accept an ED admission. A different story than EA.

I second Thumper’s info…make sure you contact school directly…

We did the same thing and missed the cvs for Stanford. Does anyone know their policy?

Contact STANFORD…they know their policy the best.

Yeah…it’s just that we have to wait until Jan 3 now. Holiday Break…

The administrative offices are likely open at least part of the break. Not the whole time, but at least part of it. I’d call Monday.
