Missed the application deadline?

Will my application still be reviewed if I submitted it Jan 6th at 12:01 AM EST? I live on the west coast and Common App says

“The application deadline is at 11:59 PM of the stated deadline date. The deadline time is either your local time zone or the school’s time zone, whichever is later. Submission for all applications is recorded in Eastern Time.”

Should I call admissions in the morning or am I ok?

It’s local time lol. I was freaking out too.

@philargyrist I’m sure it’s fine; the Common App website clearly states that the later deadline is followed. I literally submitted my writing supplement at 11:57 PST because my wi-fi was out all that day. I had to copy and paste my document and part got cut out. See, worse things could happen other than turning your application in three hours to the deadline.

Hahaha yeah… like missing the deadline today for an app you’ve been working on because you thought it would’ve been 11:59 PST again :((

This is the second time I’ve screwed up… When will I learn?!
