Missing a word?

How bad does missing one little word (in this case “in”, instead of saying ‘I intend to major in some combination of…’, I said, 'I intend to major some combination of…) look? Like, I double and triple checked everything, but I still found that little mistake a little while ago, and it’s bothersome. It interrupts the flow of the sentence, so I think they’ll notice (unlike me). How bad does one tiny typo make an application? Like, I know it’s just one thing, but there are thousands of kids out there who have immaculate apps.

Oh, btw, this wasn’t a last minute mistake. I wrote the essay a few months ago and found the mistake today.

do u honestly think they'll care about one small missing preposition? they read so many apps a day that they might not even notice it and even if they do, it won't affect your application.

look kid, chill

Send an amusing self-depracating email with a revised version attached--printed out from the online app.

Definitely being rejected. We Brown University students don't make mistakes. . . ever.
