Alright, so I believe now it’s time for me to panic. Last night, I applied for Early Action to Ohio State and went into the student portal to check if everything was completed. However, Ohio State says I am missing my ACT even though I called Ohio State a week before I applied to ask if they had received the free ACT score reports and they told me they had all four score reports. It also says I am missing my high school transcript even though on the common app everything by my counselor was uploaded in the beginning of October. I have applied to another college and they had also received a free score report and there’s does say they have received my ACT score and my transcript. When I look at my Common App for Ohio State under the Recommenders section, it says my transcript, counselor recommendation, and optional report are downloaded? For every other college it says submitted and I’m pretty sure it said that for OSU too before I applied. What’s up with them not having my ACT scores or transcript? I’m really starting to freak out because OSU is my #1 choice and I have applied for the honors college and the scholarship which will all be a waste if my transcript and act scores do not show up soon!
I am having the same issue except with just my high school transcript. I am going to call them Monday (which is cutting it very close) but I hope they are just slow in updating their records. I would suggest calling them too.
I submitted on Saturday and got my account info yesterday. When i checked yesterday they did not have my transcripts or SAT scores. Today it’s just my SAT scores that are missing, and college board has confirmed they were sent on the 25th. So i dont know
The system’ might reflect the ACT scores in student center after 5 business days. In my case, it took 4-5 business days to be updated.
You can also contact with Admissions office by email with your OSU ID and details about your ACT scores (when it was sent etc.). My transcript was not reflected in my Student Center due to an error so this is also possible.
However I wouldn’t worry too much since you have sent the documents before the deadline.
Good luck in your application
(I am an international transfer applicant btw meaning that I submitted different documents but the process should be the same in terms of processing official focuments)
