Missing credentials email

I submitted my app in early January and I checked on the Wolverine access and it says that everything is recieved EXCEPT for my high school transcript.

The thing is, my transcript and recs were in the SAME envelope.
But my recs were recieved but the transcript was not.
Just before my counselor sealed the envelope, I peaked in, to see that everything was in there (so I KNOW my transcript was in the envelope).

I got an email from Michigan about my missing transcript and that I have to send it in...

I know that they could still be putting my file together but I'm thinking that maybe they sent the email because my transcript is definetly missing...

Or maybe my high school transcipt is not acceptable? I'm an intel and I've gotten my highschool counselor to verify my documents and everything... so it should be acceptable :\
The email also states: Please remember, transcripts and scores must be sent directly from the issuing institution to our office in order to be considered official.
My envelope was sealed with the school stamp and a signiture - but I sent it after it was sealed... Is that not acceptable?

No, that is not acceptable from what I understand. Unless it is actually sent out by the school and is considered an "official transcript" (which at my high school meant it had a raised stamp on it) then it does not count.

Well... the transcript was a copy but it had the official school stamp, and my counselor wrote, 'true copies' over the stamp, and signed underneath.
And my envelope was sealed with the school stamp and he signed on the seal again. I don't really know how to make it anymore official haha.
My school was extremely, extremely, extremely hesistant to send my things in (im intel) so I had to send it myself... oh and school doesnt open till Feb... what should I do?

You could call U of M and ask them, but I'm guessing they don't make exceptions on this one.

Another option is to have your Guidance Counselor fax it to Michigan Admissions Office -- quicker than snail mail.
