I’m attempting to transfer into the UCs from a CSU. The major is CS, I currently have a 3.95 GPA, research and internship experience. I have fulfilled all the prereqs…or so I thought. It’s come to my attention that the course I listed as completing the Composition 2 requirement isn’t listed as a match on Berkeley’s lookup site. Is this basically an auto disqualification everywhere? Or do I still have a chance?
UCSD might accept you. They are super flexible. I know someone who withdrew his major prep and got waitlisted to UCSD. He eventually got accepted to UCSD, and lots of people here also saying that UCSD is flexible.
Please do not keep reposting this. Your classes don’t match. You even said that somewhere else. English course completion is the bare minimum, along with quant math. At this point all you can do is wait it out. If people want to respond in the other places where you posted this, that’s where they should go, because I’m closing this one.
