<p>Thought I’d bump this up to see if there are any new hopefuls around since people last posted on this. How’s everybody doing on the app so far?</p>
<p>I am a hopeful from India . I haven’t taken my SAT or subject tests yet (taking SAT in October , expecting near-perfect scores in writing and math and 700 in reading , subject tests in November,expect getting perfect scores in math level 2 and 780-790 in chemistry.)
So I will be applying late (Mid-December, perhaps.)
Does applying late hurt the chances of admission?</p>
<p>No, it doesn’t make a difference when you apply, as long as you get your materials in by the deadline. MIT will take a long time to read all of the applications, and then they will decide who will be admitted for everyone at once.</p>
<p>If I tell them that I’m a top-rated UU tier Pokemon Battler, will that help me? (I peaked at #11th worldwide last year).</p>
<p>Just finished my application. A couple of my teachers will review it over the next week or so and I should be sending it in within two weeks.</p>
