<p>Chill! school haven't even started!
at this time last year I just read all the blogs and the admissions website. Organized my scores, extracurriculars, and awards.</p>
<p>I submitted part 1 on 23rd of August and part 2 on November 1st.
Contacted interviewer around mid September.
I gave all the envelop stuff to my teacher really early September.
Since I gave it to them early, they were both done by Oct 1st. My extra rec was done around the Oct 15th</p>

<p>I have my first drafts of my essays done- I had the time. I have most of my part1 done and most of my part 2 done except for the last 2 short essays, i'm applying EA.
i agree with the others chill out, there's more than enough time to complete the app and the questions are relatively easy, if your passionate about something it should be simple.</p>

<p>If I could find out whether MIT is going to accept me or defer me soon, I would understand the rush. Since there is an expected notification in December, I am doing my best to take all the time I have. However, if I don't get into my Early Action schools, there is going to be a mad rush to get everything together for Regular Decision. I'm trying to get everything ready just in case. This is why knowing my admission status sooner would be less stressful, but it isn't a big deal. I can only imagine the pressure admission officers have to deal with. Kudos to them.</p>
<p>I have pretty much finished the app except for the sat 2 scores since im taking them in oct and nov. I have my interview scheduled for next week. <p>All I'm missing is entire application part 2 (basically all the important stuff)
and the subject tests.</p>
<p>I finished part I, didn't turn it in yet (dad's not home to pay the application fee). I also filled out all the non-essay parts of part II. :) I'm not 100% sure I'm applying EA though.</p>
<p>I believe I didn't start the app until October. It'd be good to get started, but it's definitely not the time to worry about progress yet =). Contact your interviewer and get out recommendations sooner rather than later, though.</p>
