MIT as music major !

<p>Would I have a higher chance of getting into MIT if I apply as a music major? (MIT has a music dept!! @.@)</p>

<p>If i get in as a music major, can I change my major to something like math or compsci?</p>

Yeah, we have no quotas for majors or for any of the 5 schools, so don’t think you need to write something obscure here to help your chances. Just be honest - we just want to know what you’re interested in! (In our experience, about half of all MIT admits major in something other than what they write here.)
