is anybody else here at the MIT Bio interview yesterday? i would love to hear what you think about it.

At least you guys are getting out before the snow. :) Last year there was a big snowstorm on the Sunday of the mid-February interview weekend, and all of the recruits from southern California were horrified.

Mollie,

Speaking of Socal kids being horrified of snow, I recall a story my brother told me about his first year at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He said that at the first snow fall, you could tell who the students from the Southwest were because they all sprinted outside and began making snow angels and snow men and throwing snow balls at each other.

hahaha. I can totally envision Cadets doing that!

I'm at ann arbor right now, and i'm absolutely horrified about the weather here. i just want to cancel my interviews and fly home...

Lol, I was just Ann Arbor last weekend and I loved it (on the other hand when I visited MIT for undergrad, I was so miserable - driving rain/sleet)

FB, i think last night was really windy and my windbreaker couldnt handle it. actually today the weather is much better.

btw, for those who care, i just received acceptance email from them.

congrats eastcoastbound!

heh, ironically enough, I just saw your profile on applycorner. I was just wondering, did you take some time off to do your research/become a research fellow, or was that during undergrad (I'm guessing you went to Berkeley)?

thanks werd, it was nice to hear back from them so soon. i did over 2 years of undergrad research during my stay at berkeley, during which i received my research fellowship.
