Chance me to the following!!

1.MIT
2.Carneige Mellon
3.UPenn

Others
Princeton
Cornell
Brown
Penn State
UMichigan
Georgia Tech
UMaryland

What is your intended major? Try to make this more clear to colleges by showing them through your ECs

MIT & CMU computer science programs are the best in the world. You have a chance but their CS program is a reach for everyone.

Yes, your intended major is important for chancing as most engineering school would have a higher requirement. Since you have MIT and Georgia Tech on the list, I assume you are interest in engineering programs.

1.MIT: reach/high reach
2.Carneige Mellon
3.UPenn: high match/low reach

Others
Princeton: reach
Cornell: high match
Brown: high match
Penn State: match (in state)
UMichigan: match/high match (low GPA)
Georgia Tech: match/high match
UMaryland: match (depends on your CR+M scores)

Hey everyone, thanks for the replies. Here is some of the info you guys are asking for.

Major: Computer Science
SAT M: 760, CR: 740.

FYI. You can study computer science in both CoE and LSA at UMich. It would be easier to get into UMich LSA though. That would make you a match to low match. Your SAT CR+M at 1500 is good.

MIT : high reach
Carneige Mellon : high reach
UPenn : reach
Princeton : high reach
Cornell : reach/high reach ('cause comp sci)
Brown : low reach
Penn State : match
UMichigan : reach/low reach
Georgia Tech : reach
UMaryland : reach/low reach(?)

Most of these schools you want to apply to are some of the top universities in the world for computer science. Your stats are alright, but realistically, they’re mostly reaches. If you want to make it into one of the top 20 universities in the world for computer science, you’re going to need one hell of an EC. Or write a killer essay.

Add UT to the list.
