Laila, which other colleges did you apply to and how successful were you with them?

Mr. Jones.
I will get in contact with you via email but can you tell me one thing.
The section in the application which asks us to state our idea or concept:does it require a full fledged working concept or can it just be theory I have formulated and hope to work on it in the future.
As i have done the latter.
Also please tell me if the computer engineering program at MIT covers system Architecture and what is the scope of cryptography there.

You will find an excellent guide to the content of the Course VI (6: EE/CS) undergraduate programs at MIT by visiting the EECS Undergraduate website.

There is a wealth of information on the MIT website; it's worth doing a thorough visit there and asking specific questions of people like Ben Jones if you cannot find your answer at that site.

Hi Vampiro,

No, it doesn't need to be a full fledged working concept - theories can be really cool in their own right.

I'm not terribly familiar with the intricacies of EECS, and the link that mootmom provided is the one I would have provided as well. Please let me know if you have additional questions, however, and I'll try to find someone here who can answer them.

Ben

Thanks,
Mr.Ben.
I will be sending in my concept then.
