MIT, Harvard or maybe Germany after all?

Hi!
I'm a student in the so called gymnasium(kinda like the german high school) and will be graduating in a few years. I have top notch grades in science classes(Biology, physics, Informatics and chemistry) and am thinking about where I will want to study. Since my dad is an american I could also study in America. I am aiming at most probably studying synthetic biology, genetical engineering, bio chemistry, bio informatics... you get the idea. I was just wondering what the best college would be for this. In the most ideal colege, I would have a specific synthetic biology course, seperate from biology and chemistry and maybe a course in Bio Informatics or programming generall.

I really don't know where to start, distance is no factor, I can speak english and german fluidly.
Any suggestions?

I would recommend MIT, CalTech, and Johns Hopkins as good science schools based on your description. Good luck getting into them though
