Schools With Top Bio Programs (Specifically Genetics)

<p>So, I've been reading around a little, and seen that the schools with the top Bio programs are Stanford, Harvard, UC Davis, UCSD, CalTech etc. Does anyone know specifically which university on the west coast has the best genetics program? Any other factors don't matter.

<p>On the West Coast? Berkeley/Stanford most likely.</p>

<p>Are you limiting yourself to the west coast? or are you willing to consider east coast... because there are a ton of east coast schools that are amazing--Johns Hopkins...</p>

<p>Limiting to the west coast, I can't stand the climate everywhere else. Snow is fun, but I could never live with it. Thanks for the answers to both :)</p>

<p>Berkeley, Stanford, UCSD, and CalTech have great programs for anything and everything bio.</p>

<p>Like other posters said (in no particular order): Berkeley, Stanford, Harvard, UCSD, CalTech, Johns Hopkins...</p>

<p>The one I want to add is MIT. People always think of it as a solely compsci/engineering type of place, but it has excellent programs in a wide variety of sciences, including biology.</p>

<p>Stanford, Berkeley, Caltech, UCSD, University of Washington, UC Davis, UCLA (again in no particular order)</p>
