I've looked on MIT's and Harvard's website and can't find anything about the class swapping except for some medical research. Is this limited to medicine? If not, can someone please provide me with a link on where to look for the details/class listings of this program.

damn 1MX you have been posting a crapload recently. Your post count has jumped like crazyyyy

I'd like to consider it active research in the college admission's process.

There aren't any class listings for the program, per se -- it's just that MIT and Harvard undergraduates are allowed to freely cross-register for classes at the other school. MIT undergraduates can theoretically take any class at Harvard College (and some of the graduate schools, but not the business school), and Harvard undergraduates can take any course at MIT.

There's some basic information on cross-registration here. The program isn't limited to Harvard; MIT undergraduates can cross-register for courses at Wellesley, Mass College of Art, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Is it included in MIT's tuition?

Yes, cross-registration privileges are included in tuition for students at MIT, Harvard, and Wellesley.

very impressive.

More information is here:

As a rule, advisors rarely sign-off on a cross-reg for a course offered at MIT, but otherwise its ok. I had an aquaintance at MIT who chose to take Gaelic at Harvard, so as to read King Lear in the original. Be aware that the Harvard exam schedule is very, very different from MIT's. Cross reg at Wellesley is usually easier, as the calendars line up better.
